Should u be prescribed Fluoxetine for menopause symptoms eg sweats bad mood swings?

i do not agree with being prescribed fluoxetine (prozac). come on its an antidepressant. do you feel depressed? these tabs have a reputation for making people depressed as a side effect, a bit ironic i know but hay these things happen. HRT or a "on" that clips onto your clothing and stops/reduces these symptoms.
