Sinis infection not getting better?

I went to the dr last Wednesday for a sinus infection. He gave me Amoxicillin. I still feel crappy tho. The day after starting the meds I got really congested/ "sick voice" and it's been that way since. Anyone every have this prob? Dr said to call back if not better in a week, so I will call tomorrow but what else could it be??
