Your TV will display the signal it receives from your PC as long as it's compatible. Once you have connected your VGA cable, you should adjust your PC video card output settings. Start with 1366x768 at 60hz since that's 720p. If your TV displays at that resolution, then you can start adjusting the settings to your preference, up to 1080p (1920x1080) if your TV is capable of displaying it. Don't forget, you'll also need a 3.5mm audio cable for sound.
