I have ended things with my boyfriend after abuse. why am i so down?

Hello my Dear............I could go on and write you rheems of details!!! Simply put: The one smart thing you have said through this whole entirety is that you have put an end to all of this mental anguish......Consider this.Do you see this person in your Life for the next 5,10,15 25 years ???????? The same abuse day in and day out?? I would think not....Why has he been allowed to carry on like this ?? because you have been beaten down so low that you were not able to see the lightUNTIL now.Be strong, form a small support group with your friends, your parents.Have your Dad had a curt word with him and or your Brother! Mean what you say and stand up for what you clearly want.Life is toooo short, you deserve much much better and you WILL move on and meet Mr. Eligible who will put you on a pedestal, where you belong..Good Riddance to to any man, even the word is too good for him that would cause/inflict such mental strain on any female form..........Be strong now ! Take charge of your Life.Today is a NEW DAY.Make the best of it.IT WILL GET BETTER!!! Good Luck to You, You are deserving !
