Computer vocabulary need help.?

I am computer illiterate and learning this "craft" by default. Can someone give me a place to get a short list of the computer language and minimal definition. When the computer says "close my browser" where do I find the browser to close it. This is an example of the kind of words I need to learn. Just the Basics.
